Good Morning!
woa!  That is too bright. how about this font color?  much better?   How are you today?  Well...I have been busy soaping and candling! Yupperss!  This idea for a lavender & Chamomile popped into my head and then I just couldn't get it out...so had to work like a little busy bee yesterday morning creating.  Once upon a time I really disliked Lavender,..but it has grown on me.  I am happy to say that I enjoy it's relaxing fragrance..calms my nerves.  These soaps are already on my etsy shop.  Oh and I also finished the baby afghans that I was making for my twin sister's twins...now say that three times fast!  :-)  Here's a lil pic of those too..

Happy Valentines Day!

Howdy!  Today has been an excellent day!   Relaxing and yet I still managed to get everything done.  Don't you just love those days when you can make time for yourself and still get everything else done?  Made cupcakes for my dd's class yesterday...so glad that I did it then!  My dh made me a presto pot to melt my soap, so excited that I had to share.  What do you think?  this is a little corner of my craft room...I have a table set up so that I can lay everything out while I am working.  Also have a few cupboards to hold some of my goodies.  New fragrances arrived today!  oh my!  The possibilities!!!  Fresh spring like dupes (fragrances)!  Wohoooaaaa!  Tomorrow tomorrow...will begin the day of Spring soaps...can't wait!

Hello hello!  Happy Sunday!

Wow!  I have been missing for quite a few days.  Isn't it strange how life can get too busy?  I haven't had a chance to catch my breathe, thankfully today is Sunday (one of my favorite days of the week) and I can hop on here and catch up.

I am attending a craft fair that is three days long called The Crane Festival.  I am super excited as this is my first time attending this festival.  Besides crafting, I have two children.  We homeschool our ds, this is rewarding and yet challenging at the same time.  He is 14 years old and in the 8th grade, great kiddo but as he says, "I am not a child/kid anymore, I am a teenager" uuuummmm....ok but he will always be my "baby" no matter how old he is.  Aren't I just a gooshy mom?  I love being a mommy.  Anyhow, his schoolwork is quite extensive and has required lots of attention.  Not that I mind, it's just that it takes me awhile to remember exactly how to do some of the work.  To be honest, his English assignments are challenging, even for me...I love English!  We also have an 11 year old daughter that attends public school.  She is such a sweetie and is such an inspiration to me!  On top of that and my small business I started subbing at a child care facility.  Another passion of mine.  I enjoy working with little ones!  It has been awhile since I had sat on the floor and played,...read books and bottle fed a baby.   What fun!  But oh my!  This body of mine isn't used to all of that, I was pretty burn out on Friday...

Now that I have rambled on about my personal life, hope you didn't mind reading about it.  I think it's all of the day to day activities that are the best!  I have been working my little fingers to the bone creating yummy candles and a few more soaps for an Out Of The Box Sampler Kit on Etsy.   I was invited and was oh so happy to send in 25 samples for the March Boxes.  Here's a link if you would like to purchase one.  They are super neat and have a bit of everything.  Every month they feature new goodies, so no two months are the same!  Isn't that ingenious?

Also made a few candles...oh so aromatic!  I am in love with this new fragrance!  Have a few more soapy/candle goodies to share with you!  But first have to take pictures!  Until we meet again friends!  hugs n squishes!
