Organizing my Craft Studio Day 2

Hello!  It has been busy and hectic here but I am getting things DONE!  Yes!  * Fist pump*  The list making is helping and I am finally crossing things off my list.  Feels so good.

Remember the Challenge to organize my Craft Studio?

These were my fragrance oils BEFORE..yikes!  I have over 135 different fragrance/essential oils..I was searching for Cotton Candy Fragrance Oil..can you imagine? Took me over 30 minutes to find out that I was OUT..I had a replacement order that was due to arrive but had I been organized, I could have saved myself tons of time.

My work table..well it was just NOT working, I had very little elbow room.  I like to spread out when I am creating and crafting, I new this was going to have to change.
It took 2 nights to get the shelves installed and ALL of the fragrance oils alphabetized..yes my friends..from A to Z..they just look soo neat sitting at attention all ready to hop into product.
All three large shelves were needed with a teeny tiny bit to grow.  Now I can hop on over and find what I am looking for in less than 30 seconds, win win!
Look at my Work Table!  Isn't it glorious?  Totally functional too!  This last Monday, I poured and created but the best part is, my Studio still looks great!  I am training myself to put supplies away immediately after I am done.
What do you think?  I hope that I am inspiring you to change things up a bit, it can't hurt!  Until next time..my desk..it is almost ready for it's own TADA moment.

Organizing my Craft Studio Day 1

Good morning folks!

Remember when I said that I was working on becoming MORE organized?  Well..yesterday my good friend Joyce inspired me to not only re-organize my Craft Studio/Work Space but to share pictures.  I was horrified, knowing that all of you would see my messes.  I like to keep things fairly tidy but my studio has become extremely disorganized and messy.  It is a constant hub of activity which I love but it was showing signs of neglect and disorder.

What I have decided to do is set a timer for 15 minutes and tackle, really get down to business in one area of the room.  I figured my room is about 300 square feet, with a few of the "Hot Spots" taken care of, this should make re-organizing more manageable.

This my friends is the BEFORE..picture.  Goodness!  How untidy, simply untidy.

15 Minutes later....TADA!  I put all of the molds away in their proper homes, I have shelving up above that houses all of my molds. I will share photo's of the nifty molds tomorrow.
The little shelf that is sitting on top of the counter is NEW, the sensational hubby will install it this evening, this will house all of my Lip Balm Flavoring Oils.  Woot!  Woot!

I am looking at this as more of a challenge, I think I can do this and help inspire others to give the 15 minute Hot Spot Cleaning a chance.

P.s. Thank you FlyLady, she is the one that came up with the Hot Spot Cleaning, I must say she is pretty fab!

Happy New Year!

Hello hello!  Happy New Year folks!  How is your year going?  I hope that it has been fun filled and enjoyable.

We had a wonderful Christmas holiday filled with family and yummy foods.  But alas it is back to work for me!

Seems like the days are flying by faster than I would like.  I am not one to make New Year's Resolutions but this year, I vowed to myself to become MORE organized.  Yes my friends!  lil ol me, has vowed to start making lists and menu's but most importantly following through with everything.  I am quite a good list maker but checking everything off my list...well that's a different story.

So far, I am working diligently..and I feel better as I am cooking more, and really truly trying to cross things off my long list of "To Do's".

I am also squeezing a bit of time in to create.  Late evenings and early mornings you can find me in my craft studio..sipping coffee and working away.

National Rubber Ducky Day is almost here again!  January 13.  Woohooo!  I am not exactly sure when my love for those lil yellow duckies began, but I must say that I am completely fascinated by them.  Here is a sneak peak of a few ducky friends that have waddled into the shop.

This first set is just soo cute!  Who wouldn't love to receive this Gift Set?

We mustn't forget our Winter Ducky Friends.  The lil scarves and hats...aDoraBle!
 Fit for a princess!

I just get a kick out of these crazy hair lil duckies!  What do you think?
I'm not sure but the Unicorns may just be on the tip top of my list.  :-)
Back to listing on Etsy, have a wonderful day my friends!
